NEENAH, Wis. — Gunderson Uniform & Linen hosted a groundbreaking ceremony here Thursday to celebrate the start of construction on its new linen and uniform processing facility.
The company says the project represents a significant investment in its future and its continued commitment to serving healthcare, hospitality, food service, and industrial customers throughout Wisconsin.
The new 65,000-square-foot facility, featuring a precast concrete and structural steel design, is being built to support Gunderson’s continued growth and maximize both current and future laundering capacity.
The expanded facility will allow Gunderson to increase processing efficiency, enhance quality control, support future automation initiatives, and create additional capacity to meet growing customer demand across Wisconsin.
The project is also designed to support the company’s long-term sustainability goals and commitment to operational excellence.
Local elected officials, community leaders, project partners, customers, and members of the media were invited to attend.
Founded in 1952, Gunderson Uniform & Linen is a family-owned and operated Wisconsin company providing linen rental, uniform rental, healthcare linen services, facility services, and commercial laundry solutions across the state.
